Hidden Garden: A Secret Realm of Floral Language
Tiffany & Co. unveils its 2026 Blue Book High Jewelry Collection, Hidden Garden, a new spring collection that explores the enchanting secrets of nature through exceptional design. The new collection, crafted by Nathalie Verdeille, Senior Vice President and Chief Artistic Officer of Tiffany & Co., and her team at the Tiffany Design Studio, captures the serene and subtle beauty of nature's transformations. Each piece reinterprets the unique artistic style of the brand's legendary designer, Jean Schlumberger, using rare gemstones and exceptional craftsmanship to transform flowers, plants, and all living things into three-dimensional and vibrant jewelry pieces.
Tiffany CEO Anthony Ledru stated, “The Blue Book High Jewelry collection is a significant part of Tiffany’s century-long heritage. Continuing the brand’s unwavering pursuit of creativity, craftsmanship, and exceptional gemstones, the 2026 Blue Book High Jewelry collection, Hidden Garden, pays homage to the artistic spirit of Jean Schlumberger while showcasing our new exploration of blending his classic designs with the contemporary high jewelry context. Under the creative guidance of Nathalie Verdeille, we collaborate closely with gemologists and master craftsmen, constantly pushing the boundaries of design and craftsmanship.”
The spring collection focuses on "transformation and rebirth," using the cyclical nature of the natural world as its narrative thread. Through handcrafted golden vines, platinum leaves, and geometric structures, it interprets vibrant life and dynamic beauty. The Butterfly theme draws inspiration from classic elements in Tiffany's history, using untreated padparadscha sapphires and Montana sapphires to present a delicate interweaving of pink, orange, and indigo, recreating the fleeting, graceful movement of a butterfly's wings.
The other two sets of diamond pieces in this theme are equally ingenious: one set features abstract butterfly designs adorned with carefully selected fancy yellow diamonds, while the other showcases the butterfly's delicate beauty with oval white diamonds. Echoing the theme of "transformation," some pendants can be converted into brooches, highlighting Tiffany's long-standing pursuit of versatile jewelry design.

Jean Schlumberger once created a classic necklace adorned with a monarch butterfly, its silhouette appearing and disappearing with a touch of whimsy. The "Monarch" theme draws inspiration from this iconic piece, reinterpreting the imagery of intertwined vines and layered leaves using hand-carved platinum, 18K yellow gold, and pavé diamonds. Among the lush foliage, exquisitely set untreated cushion-cut sapphires from Sri Lanka and Madagascar create a striking contrast. Diamond pieces in the same theme highlight the exceptional brilliance of the diamonds through leaf-shaped designs. The most representative piece is a pair of earrings set with rare emerald-cut, D-color, flawless Type IIa white diamonds, totaling over 10 carats. The combination of platinum and yellow gold in this theme showcases Tiffany's profound expertise in the use of dual gold.

In the "Bird on a Rock" theme, the brand's classic bird design takes flight once again, perching atop a cushion-cut Santa Maria aquamarine from Brazil. Custom-cut chalcedony beads create a vibrant, verdant scene, further enhancing the aquamarine's rich blue hue. One necklace features a pair of lifelike birds surrounding a 22-carat aquamarine, and its convertible design allows it to be worn as a brooch.

The "Paradise Bird" theme continues the imagery of lively birds, celebrating vibrant colors and free creativity through a series of imaginative brooch designs. In each piece, a fantastically shaped bird perches atop extraordinary gemstones. From Mexican fire opal and Brazilian rubellite to Ethiopian blue chalcedony and Madagascar fantasies, each gemstone was carefully selected by the brand, possessing a vivid and expressive hue. Feathers are applied in a pointillist style, layering the colored gemstones to not only echo the main stone's color but also showcasing playful color combinations. Whether it's the combination of emeralds, turquoise, and tsavorite, or the interplay of carved gemstones and diamonds, each bird is imbued with a vibrant life.

The Parrot theme draws inspiration from a parrot brooch created by Jean Schlumberger for Tiffany & Co. in the 1960s. Untreated blue and purple sapphires adorn the playful feather mosaic pattern, while diamonds and paillonné enamel in shades of deep blue, emerald green, and Tiffany blue complement each other. The enamel feathers are meticulously hand-painted, their vibrant colors reminiscent of the iridescent hues of a parrot in flight. Paired with sculptural platinum feathers and delicate 18K gold elements, the interplay of light and shadow creates a striking yet harmonious overall silhouette.
The Bee theme draws inspiration from Jean Schlumberger's iconic Two Bees ring, cleverly blending the geometric structure of a honeycomb with the dynamic rhythm of nature. Dazzling oval diamonds are set within a hexagonal geometric structure, their brilliance amplified by the 18K gold accents. The most striking piece in this theme is a ring set with a rare, D-color, flawless Type IIa white diamond weighing over 10 carats. Subtly sculpted bees encircle the diamond, adding a touch of whimsy to the overall design.

In the 2026 Blue Book High Jewelry collection, floral imagery shines in various forms. The Jasmine theme uses delicate platinum woven elements to outline the structure of a flower stand, recreating a piece designed by Jean Schlumberger between 1961 and 1962. One necklace even features a rare D-color, flawless Type IIa white diamond weighing over 18 carats set atop the "flower stand." Another set in the same theme focuses on cushion-cut kunzite.
As one of Tiffany's legendary gemstones, kunzite not only infuses the overall design with captivating brilliance but also subtly complements the jasmine motif with its soft hues in some pieces. The Marguerite theme employs two distinct design approaches, interpreting the daisy element with sculptural platinum petals: one set uses untreated pink sapphires to create a delicate and vibrant daisy shape;
Another set deconstructs the daisy shape with emerald-cut diamonds, cleverly utilizing negative space to present a bold and ingenious design. The "Bloom" theme uses soft pink and purple sapphires paired with diamonds to capture the beauty of a flower about to bloom. It is worth mentioning that while other themes in the series are designed in platinum or a combination of platinum and gold, this theme's pieces are all crafted in 18K gold.

The Twin Bud theme innovatively reinterprets Jean Schlumberger's iconic designs with winding platinum vines, capturing the fleeting beauty of twin buds suspended in a moment with a set of untreated Zambian emerald pieces and a set of diamond pieces. In the emerald pieces, pear-shaped and cabochon-shaped emeralds transform into blooming buds along sculpted vines. Brilliant-cut and precision-cut diamonds are interspersed on the vines, accented with 18K gold elements, further creating rich texture and three-dimensional depth. In the diamond pieces, graceful platinum vines trace elegant curves along the skin, with gold-embellished buds scattered throughout, ultimately settling atop a dazzling pear-shaped diamond.

As the final chapter of the spring collection, the Palm theme features untreated oval Mozambique rubies adorning the winding, graceful leaves. These rubies, meticulously selected by the brand, display a harmonious and vibrant color and captivating fluorescence, fully showcasing Tiffany's exceptional heritage in gem exploration. In another set of pieces under the same theme, dazzling diamonds cascade down like a waterfall, vividly capturing the dynamic interplay of light and shadow as sunlight filters through the leaves.
